There are some bad reviews, but for me everything went very smooth. I first got to their main office to exchange my 12GO ticket into a real one (YOU NEED TO DO THIS!!), then 5 min of walking to the harbour house, wait until the indicated time and got on the boat easily. Trip took about 45 min and everything went smoothly. There is no AC on the boat, but there are fans so just pick your places wisely ;)

We booked a bus ticket to Banyuwangi, but instead we were dropped 35 km away from Banyuwangi. We were told that we had to get out of the bus, but we didn’t understand why. The bus driver did not explain a thing. A friendly passenger had to explain that the bus suddenly did not go to Banyuwangi anymore, but to a city in the opposite direction. The bus driver said we had to take a Grab for the remaining part of our trip…
If there was just communicated that we would have a delay of 3 hours and that the bus could not go to Banyuwangi anymore, it would have been a lot better and understandable. But instead, without letting anything know, we had to leave the bus with just the two of us on a random road.
To end positively, the bus was quite comfortable though and we got snacks and water!

We arrived on time, but you should go first in the office to exchange 12go asia ticket for another one, and the explanation to get to the harbor more than poor.

Mittlerweile fährt das Boot am neuen Hafen von Sanur los und man muss nirgends durchs Wasser einsteigen. Das Boarding ist gut organisiert. Die negativen Kommentare zu Verspätung, warten in Sonne und enge Sitze kann ich nachvollziehen, aber man sollte bedenken, dass man in Bali selbst für seinen Sonnenschutz sorgen sollte und man für einfach mal 6.50€ pro Route gefahren wird. Also vollkommen in Ordnung.

Boat was full left on time. And we arrived in 45mins to Nusa Penida. Return trip was faster in the evening. Boat was again full and the trip took 35mins back to Bali.

Overall positive experience with Angel Billabong. We had low expectations due to bad reviews we’ve read in general on many fast boat companies, we were afraid our luggages and us would get wet but no worries! No aircon but there was a nice breeze from the open windows, 4 stars cause there was a very strong gas smell especially at the beginning of the trip and it was a little hard to breathe.

Check in informations were unclear from both 12go and Angel Billabong. First boat of the day left with 40min delay. 12go support took hours to respond. It is not normal to provide decent support only for people paying extra. It should be part of your whole service

Both trips left well after their scheduled time and neither one was the 30 minutes advertised, 45-60 minutes is more what it was. If my dive boat had not waited for me it would have been a wasted trip

They don’t have a proper place for waiting, the boat was over booked and they don’t help you with the luggage. Other than that was on time and it had 2 tine fans, no AC as it said on the description.

Everything was fine on the way to and back from Nusa Penida. Both the ports are fine and you don't need to step in any water. The boats also both had fans, which is better than with some other companies that we have seen.

The boat left on time and we got there on time. It’s not very comfortable there’s not much space in the seats and there’s no a/c just some fans but they only are half way up the boat and at the front. The journey is only 40 minutes so it’s fine

Penida (banjar) to sanur at 13:00. Check-in counter right beside boarding pier. Helpers load luggage from pier entrance to the boat roof-top (can get wet). No AC, fans in front. Left at 13:15, left windows had to be closed due to water spray, trip took 40-45min. On arrival helpers offloaded the luggage to the new pier. You need to walk out of the port for gojek pickup.

Все было быстро и просто. Показал посадочный талон на телефоне с Q cod и сразу зарегистрировался. Насторожило, что посадочный талон может быть доступен в течении 24 часов после оплаты. Если покупать билет менее чем за 24 часа можно не успеть получить талон с Q-cod?

The most punctual journey so far. We left 1:05 instead of 1:00. The trip was just 36 minutes long. My biggest problem is the boat itself as I'm 5'9 (173cm) and my legs could barely fit the space. The seat cushion was horribly uncomfortable as well. There was no ac, only some small fans all the way in front of the boat.

The pier is not where it says on the 12Go pdf confirmation. Go directly to the new port (the grab taxis know this). From there the whole experience starts. Like in a modern airport, there is a terminal then they call your boat. I personally feel the these boats are overloaded and tend to swing easily in the swells. Was not very at easy but all went well. I would book again from this company.

The process was easy: Tickets bought online, checked-in at the counter in Sanur, were escorted by the staff to the jetty and the boat departed 15 mins late, which means on time in Indonesia :D Fast drive 35-40 min to Nusa Penida. Boat was clean and well maintained. In Nusa Penida the process is less organised, but the harbour is small, so just ask the staff if necessary.

It was a bit of walking around on the harbour to find the right place and Google maps doesn't show the real location. We left on time an everything went smoothly - just don't sit in the front, you will get wet

Buchung online, leider bei Zahlung mit Paypal hohe Gebühren.
Wir hatten das Speedboat für 17 Uhr gebucht und da wir so früh vor Ort waren, wurden wir gefragt, ob wir mit einem früheren Boot fahren möchten. Das hatten wir nicht erwartet und waren angenehm überrascht.
Überfahrt war sehr angenehm.

The staff collected the luggage from the passengers in advance and transported it to the boat. There were many passengers on board, so it was quite crowded, but that is the case with most boats. I was satisfied.

We took the boat on Saturday 14:15. It was on time. We got to Nusa Pedina around 14:55. It was not crowded at all. Everything was great.
