  1. Every passenger is required to have medical certificate on COVID-19 test completed within the last 72 hrs.

  2. Those passengers from 5 red-zone restricted provinces MUST have permit to leave the area, issued by the province's Authorities.

All passengers must only stay inside the hotel / place of residence upon arrival, with possibility to stray within the beach line in front of the hotel / place of residence, dine at the place provided by the hotel / place of residence. No passengers are allowed to travel out of the hotel / place of residence, such as to restaurants or public houses nearby.

  4. Passengers without the documents mentioned in point 1. and/or 2. are categorically NOT permitted to board any ferries / vehicles and are not allowed by any means to travel to Koh Lipe.

  5. All resorts, hotels, places of residence as well as travel agents must comply with the standards required as issued in the Provincial order No. 42/2564, and follow all the requirements strictly.

The boat trip itself was not too bad. It was a bit of a bumpy trip, but compared to other boat trips in Asia it was not so bad. The communication could have been better. The info states that you have to check in at least 2 hours before, but when we were there everything was still closed. It opened 1 to 1.5 hours in before the trip. The man also said that we should not believe what was in the info and just go for a lunch and relax. You have to hand in your passport and you get it back on immigration on the island, this all went pretty smoothly. Furthermore, everything went exactly on time.

The ferry is comfortable and the ride was nice. Having a luggage storage area on the first floor and better signs to the check-in areA would be nice.
