Booked to pick us up at 11 but left at 11.30 but still got there on time :) Tara travel was a little hard to find as maps says it’s over the bridge on the right side but it’s the left of the road. Had to swap buses but got aircon and a comfy seat. Really lovely people

Not really sure what the bad feedback is about everything was good, it’s a fraction more expensive than doing it yourself but means no hassle you turn up, they take you to the station and make sure you go to the right place happy days!

Helpful staff.
The only thing, I wish it was writen in English what the meal voucher can give, it was a bit tricky understanding that at the stop.
And if by the doors it could be written how long the stop will be for it would be great.

It was one of my best trips by bus! Very comfy! They offered a blanket, pillow and I could recline my chair. And there was dinner included, that I didn’t even know. I really recommend it!

I took bangkok to pattaya trip and Bangkok to ayuttaya trip. I had pre-booked the latter one. It was very convenient as they helped us in finding the right bus in big morchit bus stand and hassle feee transportation. Pattaya bus was very comfortable Ayutthaya trip is just an hour, by a mini van. Mini van was not that comfortable but good enough for one hour travel. The lady at the office is very co-operative and very nice

The travel owner is not friendly. Treat us with anger and frown.
Not on time also.
We need to change van 2 times and it's wasting time.

We weren't sure what happened but driver pulled over by police, we were left for a while, they fixed the problem and got a different driver but if we didn't have google maps he wouldn't have got us to the destination. So not ideal

BKK to CNX. Bus left an hour late and then there was an issue that took 2 hours to resolve. Free snack, water, meal at pit stop, and taxi to my hostel from the drop off point in CNX. Seats were better than what I’m used to, but nothing special.

We arrived quite in late and no one has informed of the reason. We were stopping almost every 10 minutes at then end after even thinking that we were broke down but once again no one has said anything. We almost lost our booking because of the hour. Plus as English speaker no one has told us about the free meal I had to figure it out randomly and this was the same for other traveler not Thai neither. When we pay for a service I guess the minimum is to inform passenger of anything!

Everything was great. The lady in the Bangkok Travel office was helpful. There was some transfer in between the buses, but everything was well explained. The bus was air conditioned. Only problem was that the bus was delayed by more than half an hour and also the ride itself probably took way longer than indicated (I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't pay attention, but I think overall we had 2 hours delay).

I paid extra to take a bus to Kanchanaburi, specifically because I didn’t want to spend three hours in a cramped and uncomfortable minivan. Khao San Tara Travel misprepesented this trip by showing a picture of a bus, and charging extra for it. The ticket said to show up half hour early, so we did, and the lady didn’t open the shop (which was very messy and uncomfortable) for another 15 minutes. Then she walked us across the street, said “one minute” and left us there. Finally a rickety old minivan shows up, the lady yells at us from her shop and waves is to get into the van. It’s cramped, dirty, there is mold growing on the walls, and there has been a constant schreeching noise coming from beneath the van, which makes me think it could break down any minute. This is NOT what I paid extra for. The driver did not stop to allow us to use the toilet, grab a snack, or stretch our legs. The only plus side is that we arrived at our destination an hour early, but that also meant that we had to hope our hotel would allow an early check in (luckily they did). I guess that’s what Tara Travel means by “Express”? I do not recommend travel with Khao San Tara Travel.

Nous sommes satisfait de l’horaire, départ à l’heure, arrivée à l’heure. Minivan assez confortavble pour deux heures de trajets. L’office est un peu n’importe quoi et le personnel à un peu de difficulté avec l’anglais mais dans l’ensemble c’est correct pour le prix.

You have to wait in the agency to be picked up by a van which will drop you off at a bus station and after waiting a bit finally you will take a bus to Kanchanaburi.In the tickect there was no comment about that because it was supposed to be a direct transportation from Kao San Tara travel to Kanchanaburi.As a result,maybe also because it was raining,I arrive at Kanchanaburi bus station with one hour delay.

Check in time was half hours before trip, but
Office was closed at appropriate time (must be opened 15 min after trip time).
But for us trip was the successful.

With the van, in a very uncomfortable conditions (aside me and in my legs were luggage) we arrived to the bus station.. Where we had to change van.. For all these movements we lost a lot of time.. And instead of arriving at 12, came to Ayutthaya at 13..

The bus 30 minutes late for departure, air con not always fonctionnal, 2h to wait at the bus station at Bangkok, arrival 3h late, the employees don’t speak a little bit in English. But the employees was very gentle and maid a good ambiance in the bus.

The bus was late because of security controls but the people from Tara Travel were trying to make the best out of the situation, apologized and gave us food when we finally were in the big, modern and comfy bus (but I think there are several busses driving so no guarantee that you will get this one) the people from Tara travel handed out little snacks. Just take warm clothes because it was even colder than normal busses usually are. Btw suuuuper cute dog in the office of the travel agency

Horaires respectées et transfert vers la gare pour prendre le bus impeccable. Nous avions 4 places réservés pour nous a l’arrière du bus. Attention car pas de climatisation à l’arrière uniquement de la ventilation.

L’accueil a l’agence était très sympa. On nous a emmener en voiture à la station des mini-vans. Là nous avons attendu 40 minutes que le bus veuille bien se remplir. Conduite dangereuse (mais attendue pour la Thaïlande...). N’a pas été déposé à l’endroit indiqué sur les billets par un chauffeur peu aimable. Arrivé avec 1h10min de retard (13h40 au lieu de 12h30). Bonne note tout de même pour le prix qui est un plus.

The coach was a lot older and more cramped than the photos showed when booking.
The coach left on time and arrived slightly late due to traffic but they kept turning the lights on and waking people up...
They gave us a food voucher to use at 2am but they ending up stopping at 11pm there was only crisps available.
Okay service but I will go by plane next time!

For this price, I found it okay. The shop was not hard to find, you get a Google maps Screenshot and even a picture when booking. So i dont know the problem. Plus, youll be the first in van when arriving in time. When people come late, the journey starts later. Van was quite OK. A/C was not too cool but it was OK. Seats were comfy. Were half an hour Late and a lot oft waiting time which seemed a bit messy. But the young woman was friendly and it was cheap, so I definitely recommend it.

A little bit difficult to find the office in Bangkok. For night bus you can give pillow, not just blanket. Bus come to chiang mai 2 hours before the time. I understand that It an impossible to predict the exact time of arrival, but 2 hours it really ti much time. My hotel was closed in this time

Arrived in Pattaya 1h10mins relayed. Were driven to a normal bus stop where they bought tickets for a regular bus for us. Tip: buy it yourself there and dont book with a travel agency

I did manage to go from bangkok to kanchanaburi, but the part that was done by tara tour & travel was pretty bad. The people that work at tara are extremely unfriendly and they just drop you off at the busstation, so you can also just take a grab to the minivan terminal and buy a ticket there. The rest did go as planned although it took a bit longer.

Trip was fine. Nice van took us to the main van area and purchased tickets for forward travel. Negative was the lady and driver were both miserable and in very bad moods!

I got on a first mini bus that took me to another bus station, where I waited around 30 minutes for another mini bus to start.
I don’t recommend if you are in a hurry. As I was aware this could happen, it did not bother me. We got there in the end !

Booking process was easy. We arrived at the Khao San Road office 30 minutes in advance, as advised. We were told to wait and left only at 11.30, half an hour late, when a man came out of the office who had already been there when we checked in and led us to a van that had already been parked there ever since we got there... he drove us to the bus station and showed us the platform where again we waited for quite a while. No one told us what we could expect, they didn't speak much english so information was very poor. Eventually the mini bus arrived that would drive us to Kanchanaburi. This was a comfortable van with good ac. Along the route we stopped a couple of times to pick up or drop off passengers. We arrived in Kanchanaburi around 5.30 instead of 3.30 as scheduled. All together it was a comfortabele drive but if you choose the 11am bus just consider it a travel day and don't make any plans as the time schedule means absolutely nothing.

I was only 3min late and van to bus station had already left. But Khao San put me on next bus 1h later. However my earlier stop in Pranburi was not communicated to driver so i had to take a taxi back to where i wanted to go.

We really enjoyed the tour. Especially because of our tourguide Lucky. She is the best, she is so funny but also informative. She answers all your questions and is very clear on about what is going to happen. We were lucky to see Lucky!

I wanted to go to Pranburi but the lady of the office decided I will go to a city 20km before it. It makes more sense to go to the bus terminal and buy the ticket directly from the bis company. It saves about 300 Baht.
