We arrived at Hat Yai airport at 8:30AM. We went to the checkpoint by 8:45AM and waited in the area. Several times we walked around trying to find information on our pickup and nothing more could be found. By 9:25 (our van was supposed to leave at 9:30AM) we called the number on the PDF and someone answered. Eventually he called back and said a driver would be there shortly, after which a taxi driver came over to find us. We almost missed our ferry and the ferry operator was calling us repeatedly asking where we were. Thankfully on arrival she met us at the taxi and hurred us directly to the boat, which we thankfully were able to get on just in time.

The description online during booking process did not fit with the car waiting for us. We did not want to go by mini van, but with a car.

The whole trip was pretty smooth. We left on time but waited a little bit on the floating dock for the boat. Getting through immigration points was very smooth and our ride to the airport was waiting for us when we were ready. All in all pretty good.

Ticket service from 12go asia was excellent so no problem with them. We arrived 1.5 hours before departure (two hours was advised) the check in didn't even open until 45 mins from departure so everyone was waiting around, the ferry itself let's say had seen better days, couldn't see out the windows, watertight doors didn't close properly and it rolled worryingly from side to side, no refreshments and a basic toilet. I would not go on this ferry again, I would opt for a speed boat on another route.

About the van, really good (also good in the trip hat yai-koh lipe).

Being from UK this bus / boat service is very different to our own system. That said, apart from a 15 minute delay in pick up, it was a smooth and efficient journey.

Luggage was out in the rain and not secured down for the trip. The luggage were banging around during the travel. Luckily most passengers came prepared and wrapped their luggage in black trash bags but there were a few unlucky ones which were soaking wet after the trip. The make shift cover for the boat where tattered and torn so rain was dripping onto passengers. The 2 stars were for the punctuality.

В целом, хорошо организованный сервис, главное - соблюдение заявленного графика. У нас был заказан трансфер с Липе до аэропорта Хат Яй на последнем спидботе в 13:30. Лодка отправилась вовремя и была без промежуточных остановок на соседних островах, как по дороге "туда". Лодка шла быстро и по расписанию. По прибытию в Пак Бару на пристани нас ждал стафф с табличкой с нашими фамилиями. Сам процесс пересадки с лодки на Ван и отправки занял не более 10мин. В аэропорт прибыли на 30 мин раньше расписания (в17:00), за что отдельный респект перевозчику. Теперь, за что снижена оценка. Отправление спидбота было не от того причала (платформы), указанной в ваучере и подтвержденной в СМС накануне. В результате пришлось в спешном порядке с багажом метаться по берегу в поисках нужного пирса. Возможно, в этом нет прямой вины сервиса 12go, но факт остается фактом и ложится на сервис.

Boarding was a little bit hectic,but okay. Speedboat was quite fast and direct to Pakbara, the van got us to Hat yai before scheduled arrivaé. The driver was very nice as he took us to the Bus station to our request instead of the airport to where we booked the ticket orginally but had to change the itienery. Definitely recommend this company!

Transfer was fine. Had to wait for over half an hour at the airport next to our van driver because we were waiting for other guests but except his missing English skills everything was ok. I had constant whatsapp contact to another person of smart en plus. Driving we very good, very safe. Had to wait approximately 30 mins to board the boat which was very smelly because of the two motors - but that's pretty normal. The captain though was quite skilled and navigated us very well through the waves.
Definitely recommend this transfer to ko lipe.

The driver showed up on time to our hotel. He provided information every time we stopped so we knew what was happening and we were escorted to the boat. The only suggestion I can make is to put a company logo and destination sign at the front of the van to make it easier to see on pick up. There are a lot of vans that look the same. Apart from that great.

Trip per se was ok but we were left to wait with no warnings at our hotel for 75 minutes. Pick up was at 8:00 AM, after three quarters of an hour, with nobody showing up we started to fear something went wrong with the reservation (done on the internet at 12go Asia website). Called multiple times the hotline number provided but it's a scam (you are just asked to leave your number and then it hangs up). The 12goAsia support page is a joke, with a fake "Submit" button that doesn't work (tested on three devices, two browsers) to access support. We were just about to finalize an alternative travel arrangement when the minivan eventually showed up. I have a Thai mobile number which was entered with the registration and printed with their ticket confirmation.

They were a little late to pick us up with the van, but someone contacted us the night before to let us know they will be delayed.
The speed boat was also delayed, and we had to wait for almost an hour since the van arrived to the port.
The organization was good!
And the van very comfortable!

A little stress at the airport. We see a 12go shuttle and the driver told us he is full and another shuttle will come. Finally it was not a 12go shuttle but "Asia" brand. I had to look at all guides

Smart en plus was in contact all the way thru whatsapp. Very very good service to keep things on track, especially when you don't speak the language in an organized chaos. Clear directions with photos and quick turnaround time in answering your questions. Highly recommended!
