We took the Sa Pa Express in both directions from/to Hanoi. Both guides and drivers were excellent. The bus was spacious and comfy. Definitely the best bus experience of our Vietnam trip. On the return trip we hit a heavy storm with lots of car drivers pulling over due to the conditions. Our driver continued safely and got us back on schedule despite the chaos on the roads.

Der Bus war komfortbel und pünktlich.Wir kamen mit nur 30 min Verspätung in Sapa an.Da es erst 4:30 Uhr war und noch dunkel, durften wir sogar noch nach Ankunft im Bus weiter schlafen.Nue das W-Lan funktionierte leider nicht. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen und war auch recht günstig im Vergleich zu den einfachen Sleeper Bussen.Wenn möglich entscheide ich mich wieder für die ,,Luxusvariante".

They are wonderful! We left on time and arrived a bit earlier. The driver was super cautious and drove safely. The attendant spoke English fluently.

Not too much space, but when you are lying down, it's quite comfortable.

Excellent trip. The staff member on our bus was very regimented and the bus itself is very comfortable with reclining seats and plenty of leg room. Wish all long haul busses were like this!

On time, even arrived a little bit early. They let you sleep in the bus until 6AM which is great. Great value.

Safe trip but not that comfortable I expected after reading the reviews. Seats are for not Asians to short and not that much leg space if the the seat in frond of you lay back. Next time I prefer again the semi sleepers wich is cheaper also.

Very clean bus and a very comfortable ride. Great service. They have an English spekaong guide which is a major boon. However, though they say that they provide pickup at your hotel, i had to make my own arrangements despite me putting up at the old quarter, Hanoi. Also, the free WiFi stops working once you reach the outskirts of SaPa.

The vip SapaExpress from SaPa to Hanoi was remarkably comfortable, and i would recommend it to everyone. There were big comfy seats, the view was amazing and the bus dropped most people off at their hotels, if they were staying in the Old Quarter. Only downside was the staff who i found really rude and frustrating to deal with. That said, i would still highly recommend. Its a MUCH better experience than the trains (in my opinion) and a fraction of the price.

Autobus cómodo, aunque si eres muy alto puede que no te resulte tan cómodo para dormir. Yo mido 1.75m iba bien, pero si eres mas bajito mejor :) lo recomiendo para ir a Sapa, te dejan dormir hasta las 6am, dan agua, cacahuetes y el staff habla inglés.

Staff were great. We arrived early and were allowed to sleep on the bus till gone 6am. These buses are not great for anyone tall - leg space is limited. I am 5’10 and would not recommend for anyone taller!

It was a very good experience. The driver's assistant was excellent and very helpful.
The only thing that I would suggest is that you let people know that the overnight bus is not designed for people taller than 5' 11". I am 6'2" and my legs did not fit in the seat.

We took the bus with soft seater from 06:45-12:45 (not sleeping bus) and the seats were comfortable, we could recline back about 140 degrees. Friendly staff. They have blankets, neck pillows, water and biscuits.

It was a great ride. English speaking conductor, very comfortable seats, water was provided. There were bathroom and lunch breaks announced clearly and we got to Sapa without any hassle. Perfect!

clean bus, friendly staff, they will stop every 2 hour, so you can go to rest room or buy food , but a little bit smelly. you will get a bottle of water and blanket, best sleeper bus i ever tried

The bus was on time and the driver and co-driver were both very nice, although you need to work on the behaviour and manners of the person who manages the phone calls to customers. They get very irritating. Rest all was fabulous. Strongly recommend it to all travellers.

These guys are running a different service to everyone else. The coach was super comfy, with 3 seats in a row, and a tour guide with fluent English explained all the stops to us and helped with any issues. Can't recommend enough.

Good seats with a lot of legroom. The staff was very informative, and helped us with the transport from saps to our hotel. We also got a bottle of water on the bus. We had to stops were we could buy food, and go to the toilet.
