+ New bus with a screen in each seat with games and movies.
- The AC was too high despite that we told them to turn it off or down. We couldn't sleep because of the cold, I took all the blankets I found on the bus and still freezing.
+/- You have a free meal with your ticket but no one tells you about it.

There was an annoying passenger sitting behind us, who was playing his movie loud so we didn't get to sleep that night... please make sure you put a note that everybody has to use his headphones. For the rest the places where good.

Very convenient busride. Seats were comfortable, driver was considerate and there was water, a snack and a free meal at the middle of our journey. If only they wouldn't love their aircon so much, so bring something to wear. It gets really cold, even with their blankets.

Great first time for us! We got coconut cookies, water and chocolat soymilk. There were 2 drivers and they both drove very confident and easily. It was raining very hard, but we felt safe while driving. The steward gave us a blanket and we slept okay.

Very comfortable, nicest bus I've ever been on. The seats had a massage function and blankets we're provoded. It arrived an hour early. Snacks provided and there's a stop at a shop. Air conditioning quite strong, would recommend a scarf or something.

4 von 5 Sternen. Abzug gibt's für die kalte Klimaanlage, ließ sich aber in der Pause durch das schließen der Stauräume (da sind noch mal extra Düsen) beheben, und die etwas zu frühe Ankunftszeit. Auch das Entrainment Programm lässt zu wünschen übrig (paar Filme auf Thai, zwei internationale Musikalben aus 2012). Bis auf die drei Punkte aber sonst eine hervorragende Möglichkeit zu reisen. Die Fahrt war - soweit es die Straßen erlauben - sanft, die Sitze sind sehr bequem, die Verpflegung gut und das Personal freundlich.
Vielleicht noch wichtig für den ein oder anderen: wer gerne etwas alkoholische trinken würde, sollte sich vorher eindecken. Auf dem großen Busbahnhof in Bangkok als auch im Laden während der Pause werden keine alkoholische Getränke verkauft.

Everything about the trip seemed to would hav been nice, entertainment tablets with movies etc, snacks, more than enough leg room. However, about 1 hour in the bus broke down and we had to wait for a replacement bus for like 2 hours. The new bus wasn't as premium as the intended but could still sleep through the trip. I'm guessing we were just unlucky and as I said everything seemed very good. Also, the A/C makes it freezing so bring some warm clothes.

Doesn't really get better for a coach trip. There was even wifi! The seats go almost all the way back and there are blankets. Managed to get a few hours decent sleep!

The bus arrived 30 mins before the schedule even though it was about 30 mins late at departure. We had a pleasant trip with water, snack, juice, and the seat had enough space to stretch our leg. But it's quite cold at night with the blanket they gave. USB was fine to charge our phone. They stopped one time in the mid-way.
In general, i would recommend to travel with Lignite Tours.

The bus was about 20min late but we arrived 30min before our scheduled arrival. It was the most comfortable bus ride I ever had: Free water, soy milk, a snack and some coffee in the morning. Blankets were okay for the AC during the night. Also the leg space was amazing!
Just one hint: the streets to Chiang Mai are very shaky. If you have a sensitive stomach, keep in mind to bring proper medicine.
All in all: I definetely recommend this trip with Lignite Tours.

Vom Check in bis zur Ankunft waren wir sehr gut betreut. Die Fahrt war sehr angenehm und durch den Platz zuvorderst hatte mein Freund mal genug Platz für seine langen Beine. Es hatte pro Platz einen kleinen Bildschirm und wir bekamen Snacks, Wasser, Milch, einen Coupon für den Stopp und am Morgen gabs Kaffee. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Автобус понравился. Туалет в салоне, вода, булочки, талон на питание в быстростоловке. Все как на картинке. Кресло раскладывается почти в горизонт. Если не выносите шум, берите беруши. В целом гуд. Рекомендую!

Der Fahrer ist irre schnell gefahren. Dadurch waren wir ca. 3 Std. eher am Ziel. Zwischendurch dachte Ich, wir kommen aufgrund des Fahrstils niemals heile an.

We had a very pleasant trip from bangkok to chiang mai. The seats are very confortable and we could sleep during the whole 10hrs. They give to water, milk and a snack. Each sit has a USB port where you can charge your phone. We didn't have WiFi. The assistant of the bus was not very nice, but we didn't care much. Very recommendable agency :)

Really pleasant journey. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received. Slept almost all the way through with comfy chairs and plenty of leg room and room to recline. The staff were really friendly and there was no problem at all with temperature as other comments have seemed to state. The only problem was that the bus arrived into Chiangmai 2 hours early which left us with a problem of what do we do at 5:30am.

Great trip. Really good to have lie flat seating on a bus. Don't forget your sleeping mask and earplugs or headphones.

The trip was very pleasant and I recommend it for sure. The chairs were comfortable, they even had a massage status build into it. You get some snacks and water, it's included in the price. We had the one that left at 19:30 and we were supposed to arrive around 09:00. We arrived at 05:00! So keep that in mind

Bus was on time. Blanked, food, water TV that's was al good enough space to lay down. Except it wasn't obvious that you had a ticket to eat at the stop. And the women in the bus ( stewardess) wasn't that kind.

On time. Comfortable And smooth ride. Only thing is for anyone who doesn't speak Thai it's not made clear you have a meal ticket so perhaps on the overhead speaker at the stop there should be added a message in English as I realised but many other didn't.

Couldnt sleep actually, chairs are okay but not super comfortable since the headparts are kind of annoying. I couldnt get comfortable and woke up multiple times with aching in my neck. But your feet have lots of space, the chairs can be set back and you get water and some food. Overall an okay bus, but not the best I've been in.

We booked the lower VIP section with 3 chairs wide. Seats were comfy and reclined well enough to sleep. AC was nice and cold. Maybe too cool for some. They provided blankets, water, soya milk, and some delicious butter coconut biscuits. Little to no English spoken on trip so be aware of that. You get a free meal at the bus rest stop with your ticket. As everyone said they do get to Bangkok about 2 hours early. My only complaint would be during the trip they kicked the AC off and turned the fan on for a while. When they did this you would get a loft of urine smell. Otherwise the bus was cheap, comfy for a 6' tall guy, and actually got to Bangkok early.

It was very cold and when I asked for an extra blanket, I was told no. All movies were in Thai with NO ENGLISH subtitles. They woke us at the rest stop on an overnight trip which was weird. We arrived an hour early and were impatient with us to get off the bus. They were like "hurry, hurry, leave."

Although we knew that could be cold during the journe (we had long pants and jackets), it was really freezing cold. The seats are also too short for western people.
Wifi was ok (slower when more people were online), the drinks and snacks were good too. The staff was nice and the bus arrived 1 hour earlier than expected.

I shall mention the positives..kudos to the team for completing the journey before time by almost 30 mins. On the negatives...the bus took VIP ticket bookings and the photos showed 2+1 seats. But the actual bus turned out to be 2+2. When I protested, the bus and the booking crew made some unsatisfactory excuses saying this was the only bus available and the fare is the same. I felt cheated as the onward journey in VIP bus was far more confortable than these compact seats. Such seats were available by the competitors at a much lower rate. Secondly, I fail to understand the idea of turning the bus into Antarctica. It is not pleasant at all and the temperature just keeps dropping as the journey proceeds.

Really comfy seats with massage built in, blankets, smooth journey, tv with music and free headphones. My boyfriend left his phone on the coach and despite the language barrier we managed to get the driver to bring it back! Would definitely choose over one hour plane journey

Arrived early to destination which was nice (even though I was in no rush). Spacious seats with leg rest and recliner. Unfortunate that all the media was only in Thai, and when Inrang for service nobody came. Granted, it was 12am. Pleasant surprise of stopping at a rest station with one complimentary food dish with your ticket! Best part of the trip.

For thé coach everything is perfect: tactile Tv, ac, massage chair, positional chair to sleep correctly with enough place to put your legs straight. One word: perfect

Traveled VIP Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Excellent seats, cool playlist available on personal video screen. I took off one star because the AC was incredibly high, do pack a sweater. Also, it would have been nice if the movies were available in English or with subtitles. Great staff though, they took care to see me get on the right bus, as a traveler. Highly recommended.

They give you the choice to choose your seat but they wont tell that the bottom seats are really uncomfortable and old, and the top ones are new.

They did not say the information in English such as when we were having a break and for how long. That we get a meal with our ticket. We arrived one hour earlier than stated. There was no wifi and the tvs did not work.
They provided snack and water. The woman who brought the snacks was really nice.
