The trip itself was comfortable but I will give it a low rating due to the staff hustling you to buy overpriced minivan tickets. I was planning to get a local bus from Rassada Pier to old town but the staff told me there was no buses running from the pier and that the taxis were very expensive. I bought a ticket for a shared minivan for 150 bht. Turns out an actual taxi would have been 100 bht and that there was in fact a local bus for 15 bht. This is not ok.

Fähre legte pünktlich ab und kam mit etwas Verspätung an. Hat uns nichts ausgemacht und dafür war die Fahrt selbst wirklich sehr angenehm. Das Personal war sehr nett + hilfsbereit und hat mit dem Kinderwagen und Gepäck geholfen. Zudem wurden in der Fähre für den Transfer vom Pier zum Hotel Taxi-Fahrten (Sammeltaxi für immer 8 Personen) angeboten. Bei uns war es für eine 25-minütige Strecke (13 km) 150 baht pro Person. Rein äußerlich betrachtet und der abgenutzten Innenausstattung entsprechend, hat die Fähre sicherlich schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel. Aber uns hat das nicht gestört und sind sicher angekommen :)

Everything went well. The instructions were not very clear all the time because of lack of language. The guys at the pier and on the boat are really helpfull with the luggage. Only the older lady at the point where we exchanged the digital to paper ticket was very annoyed. You can't ask her something because she reacts very annoyed.

Klima war die ganze Zeit voll aufgedreht obwohl es geregnet hat, alle haben gefriert auf der Fahrt u ich hab mir nee Erkältung zugezogen. Irg versteh ich da denn Sinn nicht, warum macht man bei so nem Wetter die Klimaanlage an?

Whilst the boat was very old the service was great. It left at 8am on the dot and arrived at Phi Phi at about 9:15. No issues at all.

Online Kauf des Tickets funktionierte sehr gut! Wir haben circa 1-2 Tage vor der Fahrt nach Koh Phi Phi aus unserem Hotel in Bangkok aus die Tickets gebucht. Im Hotel konnten wir die Tickets freundlicherweise an der Rezeption drucken lassen. Am Pier wurden dann die Tickets gegen die Fahrscheine am Schalter getauscht. Preis am Pier war genau der gleiche! 450 Baht pro Person. Die Fahrt dauerte jedoch ca 2h 15 Minuten statt 1h 30 Minuten.. Ein kleiner Kiosk mit Getränken und Snacks war an Board. Klima funktionierte leider nicht wirklich, saßen aber die Fahrt über an Deck bei angenehmen Fahrtwind (: Würden jederzeit wieder die Tickets über diese Seite buchen!

First time users: you mneed to bring a copy of your receipt to the dock. There you find those in uniform matching your ferry company. They will verify your purchase and allow you on board. That easy. Very timely ferry. Advice: book taxi on ferry to have ease of transfers to your lodging.

No problem from 12go Asia part. Apart for an error in the name of the pier (Numchai instead of Nam Chai).
The boat was quite old but on time (departure and arrival). And the boarding was easy.
However the Numchai pier is located in an area quite isolated and distant from anything really. No van from the airport and few drivers seem to know its location.

Aire acondicionado dentro del barco a tope ( te mueres de frio), fuera del barco te asas como un pollo. Billetes en esta pagina web super caros, en los mismos puertos al momento mucho mas baratos. Ojo con los billetes que venden dentro del mismo barco son una estafa, una vez bajas del barco tienes mejores opciones para ir donde quieras.

The trip was on time and comfortable enough but every one was bombarded on board with taxi drivers trying to get business on Koh Lanta. Not much you can do but you could see everyone was fed up with it.

Hugely overpriced. I lived in hotel at Kata Beach. Local offices offered transfer from hotel to the pier + ferry ticket for apr. 500 ba. On-line ferry ticket without any transfer costs 600 ba. plus local taxi costs 500 ba... Otherwise ferry itself was good.

Boat looked in old possibly poor condition despite new paint. Ticketing service was strange like they didn't know what to do. No one on board or on crew gave us directions or where to go. Boat seemed to take longer than was stated in the ticket .
