Danang City Center to Ninh Binh Destination Reviews

S
Got placed in the back of the bus, which seemed less comfortable and smaller than other reclining seats - but when booking, there didn’t see to be a distinction in seating and only gave one price option. The journey itself was okay. However negatives, they do not drop you at the location stated. Dropped us off in the middle of a motorway where we were mobbed by taxi drivers. Be aware, grab here is metered. We were 15 mins (drive) from the drop off, which translated to an hour walk to the drop off location on Google Maps. We also arrived 5 hours earlier (was suppose to arrive at 11, but got there at 6am) with no warning - so it was a hurried rush off the bus and resulted in long wait to check in. It got us where we needed to be but service was lacking and rude.

Our cabin had problems with the door. At some point we got locked inside and the stuff couldn't get us out for almost 1 hour. We were scared to death because no one was talking english and we didn't know what was happening and if they would solve the problem. The beds were mid comfortable and there was little to almost no place inside the cabin. I can not imagine 4 people traveling in 1 cabin. Luckly there were only the 2 of us.

Trip was really smooth. Company was prepared and gave clear instructions. Negative was that we left with over one hour delay and that we booked this bus because it says that it will drop you at tam coc. In reality it drops you on tam coc fork where some taxi driver already wait for you and you have no other choice than pay them triple the amount a grab would charge you. Grab is not working here in tam coc.

We booked 1st class sleeper compartment and yet it was so awfully dirty and ran down. There were cockroaches and mice running around so we didn’t feel like closing our eyes for a second. The section between da nang and hue was very beautiful but unfortunately the windows were very „foggy” almost milky, so you barely get to enjoy them. Just take a sleeper bus instead.

They left us in the middle of the road, 6km from the place where we should have been dropped off, forcing us to take a cab that we had to pay for, having already paid for that service.

Driver had his hand on the horn all night so impossible to sleep. Dropped us off on the highway not at the designated location in tam coc as specified.

It was perfect. We got a free upgrade to a VIP room but also the normal first class cabins seemed really comfortable. Toilet clean. Free tap water and some snacks

Exceeded my expectations. A/C was good, comfy bed and blankets. Even the trolley service was excellent as well.

Honestly this was the best sleeper bus we have been on so far. There was a toilet on board and we made one stop half way through at a small restaurant for people to get food. The driving wasn’t too mad like we have experienced before. We arrived 2 hours early and were dropped on the side of the road about a 10 minute drive out of town so we had to get a taxi, but even at 4am we got one very quickly and it wasn’t too expensive. The only bad thing was that the driver was quite rude and when we realized the bus had stopped right near our hostel, he wouldn’t let us get off, and we had to get off after he had driven 10 minutes in the wrong direction.
