The main low-cost carrier of Southeast Asia, Air Asia will become the first airline in Asia Pacific whose tickets will be available on Amadeus global distribution system.

The main low-cost carrier of Southeast Asia, Air Asia will become the first airline in Asia Pacific whose tickets will be available on Amadeus global distribution system.

It should cut the work load and simplify bookings many times. The Air Asia booking process with Amadeus is up to five times faster than booking outside. «Amadeus is fundamental to our growth strategy moving forward», - said the airline’s head of sales Rayner Teo.

Thai AirAsia Expands Its Reach with New Routes to Shanghai and Kaohsiung

Thai AirAsia has broadened its route network with the introduction of new services to both Shanghai and Kaohsiung. The low-cost carrier (LCC) will operate five direct flights weekly between Don Mueang (DMK) and Shanghai (PVG), and four flights per week between DMK and Kaohsiung (KHH).
