Singapore Marriott rebranded for anniversary

Singapore’s Marriott Hotel has undergone a rebranding to mark the 20th anniversary of its 1995 opening. The iconic landmark tower has been renamed the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel and has also been given a brand new emblem to reflect the renaissance.

The five-star establishment sits beside the city-state’s Orchard Road-Scotts Road crossroads. It occupies a sector of the same development as the Tangs Department Store. The two are jointly owned by Tang Holdings.

Rooms at the Marriott Tang Plaza have also been revamped to reflect Singapore’s fusion of contemporary and rich colonial heritage with features such as Eames chairs, large-screen televisions and rain-showers. Onsite amenities include a rejuvenating spa, a swimming pool, a 24/7 gym and the Wan Hao Chinese-themed eatery.

To celebrate the milestone anniversary and makeover, the Tang Plaza is running a series of promotional deals for guests. Breakfast for SGD$1 plus a three-day luxury break with excursions thrown in are among the offers.
